Dalton Muscat Architects were engaged by Howard Group in 2017 to convert, extend and refurbish the existing Carlyle Lodge, currently a house in multiple occupancy, into new residential accommodation in the form of 1-bed flats. The property enjoys fantastic views of Jesus Green and the River Cam. Additional floor space is being created by replacing an existing conservatory with a two storey extension to the rear. The front bay will also be extended upwards which will emphasise the vertical orientation of the building in the same way that is achieved by the turret on the corner.
