This new 2-bedroom dwelling has been carefully and sensitively designed to respond to the back lane character of this city centre location.  Traditional materials have been selected but have been used in a contemporary way lending a contemporary look to the dwelling.  A cedar shingle roof provides a rich, warm colour and texture which blends the house into the surroundings. The natural effects of aging and weathering will give an attractive silvery grey colour in time and will lend a distinctive look to the property.  The single storey flat roof is covered in sedum grass providing a softer and more attractive appearance.
